I was checking my muffler system to find out what was making that droning noise and I found that my drive shaft is completely rusted along with my rear axle, some suspension components in the front and my muffler(who cares). Is this normal?

BTW I cut my bump stops in the rears maybe increasing the suspenion travel smoothing the ride (yeah right!) I took those pieces and propped the rear muffler hanger down to simulate the foot on the muffler fix.

All Normal

THe early 2002's had the suspension components painted but to save $$$, DC stopped that...shouldn't be a problem

How old is your Jeep? How much salt do you drive through? In my case the quantity of road salt used in NE Ohio is brutal on vehicles. I chose to go straight from the dealer to the Ziebart shop as I intend to keep this Jeep for awhile and most of the used Cherokees I looked at were about to break in two from corrosion. Still see rust on untreated items such as driveshafts and exhaust parts.

Will Rust Bullet work on those parts. People swear by it. I started using it on the exposed metal etc. Maybe I should try it on the driveshaft and other parts.
