Hi! I wanted to introduce myself as a new CRD owner in Minneapolis. I Just got mine 2 weeks ago and I love it! It is a 2006 Dark Khaki sport born in February. I only run B100 (Shh)! So far I get about 22 mpg but I understand that it is still breaking in. I have an at home car lift, welder, and air tools, and am pretty good with a wrench. Anyone need to get some help in that area, let me know... Also, thinking, about getting together a small group to make or bulk Buy Bio Diesel, Anyone interested in that?

Hey Al, Welcome to the Club and congrats on the CRD. I live on the east side of the Twin Cities, There is another CRD owner on here from Minnesota from south of the cities. Where are you getting the BIO?

Hey Al and Taz. I've been trying to find bio down here around Hampton and southeast MN without luck. Al, what are you paying for bio at 63rd and Lyndale?

I just paid 2.80 or so at the Pump and Munch (63rd/Lyndale)....you should not be having any trouble finding all kinds of bio where you are! Try a google search...or join the bio making group I am trying to form

big al

Went up to get my first tankful of B100 today and they were out. I am very interested in a group buy of bulk bio, just need to figure out storage. Let me know if you have anyone else interested.

Kerry

Sorry about you wasting the trip...I did the same thing. They rarely run out, and have a 2000 gallon holding tank. It is a good sign for bio that they sell so much though....Anyway, storage is not a problem for our bio making group...upfront cost and logistics are...I am trying to put some kinnd of plan together. The idea would be to have a small building beside my house with a 100gal appleseed processor and some storage...say 200 gals worth. 3-4 of us could split the cost/work, and we would have about 25 gals each per week at about 75 cents to a dollar a gallon...and we would be keeping our money in MN. By the way, I am going to Lyndale today....I will post if they have fuel now...

Welcome to the board! My oldest, and favorite, sister lives up in "Mina-so-da" :P and I'm hoping to make a trip up there soon to visit! 8) I'll keep note of these places you mention to get bio for my trip up.
