Does anyone know how or who to talk to, at DC about Liberty production records? I would like to find out how many Libertys were made after mine, that were US models. I guess I would really like to see if mine is the last one.

I don't know the exact time on mine - guess I need to check, but it was around 7:00 pm same day ... 
I wonder which one of our's is older .... what are the last 3 digits of your VIN? |

The tag on the front suspension gives the date and time. Right side under the front, I think its on the lower a frame. |

From what I dimly recall when I ordered mine the VIN is assigned when the order is accepted for manufacture not when the vehicle begins life on the line. So, I'd expect most VINs are in numerical order, but some special extra equipment or options might delay the start of manufacture making earlier VINs show up with later timestamps. Of course, the dealer might have just been jerking me around about delays. |

Given some of my dealership (stealership ...?) experiences, I would agree on that note. I didn't get crap on my 00 Cherokee for trade in - accidentally found it a few weeks later, and they were asking dang near what I paid for it when I bought it 2 years ago!
