I filled up today at the local Circle K. (The fuel comes from new Mexico.) In the process I got some diesel on my hands. Ordinarily that means a trip to the washroom and smelling up the car and everything I touch for the next 5 or 6 hours. This stuff didn't smell!!!! The pump still has the old 500ppm sticker on it, but this definitely was NOT the old #2 diesel. My guess is that many high volume stations are pumping ULSD now, but are waiting to announunce it with stickers until they are legally required to. |
