Turned 10,000 miles today and have had no problems with the crd other than the tranny tsb. The best mpg I have gotten is around 25, but I never drive it for economy. It does seem to hunt for gears around 56-58 mph, so I usually speed up or slow down- no biggie to me. Overall a great truck, only wish It was a little bigger, but it's perfect for the wife.

Agreed. We hit 10,000 last week on our 2006 with no problems.

I guess the best description I can think of for this "condition" is that the tranny seems "flighty." It just kind of bops around. I've only ever driven standard tranny diesels in the past so this may be normal. :?: I do wish this beast had a manual tranny---I like a little more control---but it is nice to be able to yak on the phone without having to shift.

I just turned over 21k this morning, and I've had mine for 10 months now. I've towed over 4000 pounds over a total of 3,000 miles with no issues, except for the temperature gauge pegging itself under uphill battles, but seems to be a touchy gauge issue. Only other issues is 3 out of the 4 glow plugs have been replaced.

The temp guage issue is a software TSB that can be done on your CRD at the dealership. It will correct it.
