I just installed a Fumoto Oil Drain Valve (FG7BN) on our CRD and this will make it so easy to change the transfer case oil. Never have to pull the skid plate again to change the fluid, just stick a 2 foot length of 1/2" ID PVC hose over the nipple and run it to a jug then flip the lever.

This is a straight thread and requires a gasket and/or pipe dope, where the OEM plug has a slight taper. This plug is the same one used for oil drain plug in the Cummins diesel.

I got it from Greg at Lubercation Specialest and if you decide to order he will be out of town till this coming Monday so it would not be shipped till then. He is headed to CA to trailor back a VW Vanagon 1.6L N/A diesel, I almost went with him. However wife had something else planned.
