Has anyone noticed their tranny dip stick popping up off the filler tube? Mine seems to like to vibrate up on the tube just so the grab handle isn't seated over the tube. I tried pulling the dipstick out and turning it 180*, but that way it almost pushs itself back out instantly. Must be another gremlin of the KJ saga...haha. :):)

The only way I can keep it in the tube where it belongs is to put the flap on back of engine cover over the part of the dipstick that the pull ring comes out of, that fits over the dipstick tube. Works fine and and will help keep water out of the tranny, and these trannys are real sensitive to water in the fluid.

Yes I see what you mean. I just looked at mine again, of course the dipstick was pushed in like it was supposed to be, but I moved the engine cover flap up over the edge of the pull ring shoulder. Looks like a good fix for now. Thanks for the tip!!!
