I love this vehicle but I am not going to keep something that will have a lifetime of suck. I've read of two or three between here and other websites. Did you file a NHTS report when the TC went down? If enough of us do DC will be forced to come up with a fix. Not only that it may prevent somebody getting hurt. There is a sticky at the top of the CRD section on it. |

If the 'shudder' is truly a software/programming issue you'd think that its something that would have been fixed already. Or are all the TSBs their 'testing' to see if its gone away? |

You could report that you has symptoms and dealer diagoned and replaced, however that a newer vehicle with xxx mile should not have a TC fail and had it happened while driving it could have been a disaster... |

Most states require that you have a qualifying amount of time out of service (30 days is common) or multiple attempts to repair a single defect over a limited time period. My lawyer claims there is some flexibility (atleast in Ohio) to this requirement and the time/mileage limits if you have a record of multiple service visits (both repetitive and nonrepetitive defects). Two things are important, start building a case by establishing a series of visits for repair work (keep your warranty paperwork even if returned "can not duplicate problem"), and in most states you must provide DC an opportunity to fix the problems. |
