I did have the tranny flash done ever since i had servicing ive noticed no sound from the turbo? Used to be with the windows down sunroof open sounded like a mini powerstroke whissle. With 29k miles could something need working on?

I had my TCM re-flashed and complete tranny replaced at 25K since then the turbo whistle is not noticeable any more.

I just had the f37 done to, and yes the turbo sound is less noticble. Seems to me that since the engine has to wind up more, the engine noise is more noticable than the turbo.

They may also have reduced turbo boost pressure as part of the "torque management". Can anyone with a boost gauge installed pre/post F37 confirm?

My boost readings at different speeds and pressures does not seem any different and I can
still push it past 20 which was where mine was before. I see no changes in boost or EGT.

I noticed a difference in sound. Get a "whoosh/howl" sound at about 2000 rpm under moderate load. The first time I heard this I thought a door or window was open. I even pulled over to check for a CAC leak.

I noticed the same thing after F37. Turbo noise is barely noticable. I am curious to what they could have changed that is causing us all to notice this diifference?
