I just got my CRD back from the dealer today. They replaced the front coil springs and struts because the the front end had started to sag. It looks so much better. My guess is the front end was sagging about an 1 1/2". I'll have to take a post measurement and see what the total lift was. |

It came lifted from the dealer when I bought it new two years ago. This is about the tenth time it's been into the dealer for suspension problems but this was the first time it was the front end. When the front end started to sag my tires began rubbing. So they replaced the springs and struts. Appearantly the sagging in the front end was way beyond the normal sag associated to aging. They believe I had defective struts which placed extra stress on the front coil springs. She rides so smooth now. I couldn't be happier. |
