I can't get the upper control arm reattached to the knuckle. Was i supposed to exclude to daystar upper strut plate and only use the lower poly spacer or something? I need to get this thing back together so I can go to work tomarrow! |

the upper strut plate allows the strut to droop down -increasing wheel travel - and it's not the factor causing the problem - the spacer is the problem. When I installed mine - I ended up dropping the lower A arm to get space to attach everything and then using a jack to push it up into position - it's a major pain because the lower A arm's are your alignment bolts and it messes it up (mark everything carefully and you might get it close). But you need an immediate front end alignment afterwards. I've heard of different techniques using tie down's to pull on the lower A arm - or using a crowbar to wedge it - but I haven't seen either done and when I tried them, they didn't help. Good luck - mine took the entire weekend before it was driving, about a day longer than I thought it should have. |

(I am assuming the front sway bar is disconnected already)Definitely attach the upper contraol arm first and the lower control arm last. Then using the weight of the vehicle and a jack should work for ya'. It has been a while since I have messed with a lift but I seen to remember truning the wheel one way or the other freed up things a bit. |

I need to get this thing back together so I can go to work tomarrow! It's quite simple. Just put a jack under the upper lower control arm and move everything up until it reaches the upper control arm. |

Turn the lower Camber alignment adjustment bolts so that you essentially lengthen the lower control arms. it will help you alot, it needs an alignment either way. |

I finally finished up the front, and had to call it a night. I'm going to have to wait till Monday or so to do the rear, so until then, it's riding like an old pimp's Cadillac car. Everyone passing in the other direction is going to hate me thinking I have my high beams on for the next few days now. I just hope the rear is easier than the front was. The front was a PITA. I can't wait to finish the lift up. It's a major pain, but will be so worth it, especially with all the trail riding and water crossing I do. |

I can assure you that the rear is a piece of cake! I know that whole unlevel Jeep feeling... I drove around with the rear higher than the front for a while... really sucks that way at night since your headlights are pointing straight at the ground. The picture of my old Red Liberty is in my signature just like that... I did pick up an MPG or two though. (on the highway) |
