Often wonder if high traffic on a forum like this is a positive or a negative about a vehicle???

VW was never able to do it to Fred's TDI Forum, I don't give D/C any hope of doing something that VW couldn't.

We will be here talking about Bullet Proof Trannies and Torque Converters with our 210hp/375# diesels getting 30+mpg highway thru 3" turbo back exhausts 8)

Then one day Jay Leno (trying to expand his car collection) will offer me $279,000 for my "rare" Jeep Liberty CRD and I will tell him I have to think about it. Oldnavy will pull the rug out from under me and finally sell his wife's CRD to Jay Leno for $277,000...

Help me understand this. Is this a Freedom of Speech issue or the reality that DCX and VW will never resolve the issues enough to make these forums obsolete and allow us to lead a normal life? :?

More amused by the two free tickets to the Autoshow which Jeep sent me this week, didn't know if I should laugh or cry.

It's not just DCX or VW. There is a forum in every flavor. I think high posts are a good thing. It gives the hard, disgruntled folks a place to vent and feel a little better, and it gives the rest of us a place to share our good experiences and also to learn a thing or two.

Hahahahahahaha ROTFLMAO You nailed it DW, I'm a sneaky old fart. Always remember: Age and cunning will always over come youth and vigor.

Pardon me while I jump back over to the Sig Pistol forum. 8)

I've had my 2005 CRD exactly 2 weeks today. Started with 17,000 miles on the odo and have put 2500 miles on it in the past 2 weeks. I have had the shudder, but only on 3 days out of the 14. I love it more everyday. I have no idea what services were performed by the dealer prior to my ownership, and a little afraid to check it out....but I eventually will. For the last two week, I've been lurking the forums and making lists, oh, and crapping my pants, but now I am ready for the long haul. I just got back from all the various parts stores, filling my list for items to maintain this beauty.

I so much appreciate the voice of reason that keeps surfacing from a few of you here. You are the Imodium...Thanks

Hey, no problem. I know some have had issues, but I haven't. Many haven't. MOST haven't in my opinion. It is still a good rig with some birthing pains that are getting worked out. Go do the services check. Don't be afraid of anything. Keep your head up and your mind open. 8)

Help me out here. Did VW actually try to shut down Fred's, and/or has DCX ever threatened anything against L.O.S.T. KJs? I have always been of the impression that they neither know nor care about our opinions about anything.
