Well I got up this morning and granted it was cold but hovering around the 0 to +2 celcius mark. I have about 11000km on it now and it's 5 months old. I went out and started the Libby and let it run for a few minutes to warm up while I took out the garbage. When I finally got in and popped the Jeep in drive it started to shake/vibrate like crazy. In park and reverse nothing, and if I was hard on the gas it wouldn't be noticeable but as soon as it hit idle in drive (Stop light or stop sign) it honestly felt like it was going to shake apart. Anyone have any ideas!?!?!? Also, only after this amount of driving, and most of that being highway, when I hit a bump in the road, the suspension sucks it up no problem...but if I hit a small dip in the road the read end sounds like it bottoms out...doesn't even need to be a pot hole or anything, it can be a smooth dip but once the Jeeps rear end hits it BANG! Does this sound normal?? Front end suspension now squeaks too but I imagine that'll just take a lubrication job at the next service. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! WHY COULDN'T THEY BUILD A HIGH QUALITY VEHICLE AROUND SUCH A GREAT MOTOR!! |

I would unplug the MAF and see if it still acts up. That way you can eliminate any EGR problems. |

Thanks, going to check the tranny fluid now in a bit. Didn't even think about frozen motor mount!!! Good call!!! If I go out now and it's cleared up that's probably a safe bet. Odd it didn't freeze up before now in the winter though. Had colder days. How about the shocks thing? Is it possible one is blown already?? I haven't done any amount of hard driving in it. Mostly highway/city. |
