OK-I bled the fuel line last weekend because my crd would burp or hesitate slightly coming off a stop but nowhere else. Air came out and she ran much better. One week later same thing and bled more air out. I think I should take it in and let the dealer fix it. It seems like from reading up on this subject it will be hard to find. Right? |

It's most likely a leak somewhere in the fuel filter housing. Mine was leaking at the fuel temperature sensor. To check yours, pull off the right connector (as your looking at the filter assembly to your right, with the hood open) of the 2 connectors on top of the housing, and see if there is any fuel inside it (where the terminals are). If so, take it to the dealer and show them. Apparently, they have to replace the entire housing. I'm getting mine replace next week, hopefully. They had to order the part. If it's not that obvious, then it might be tougher to find..... |
