Considering selling the wife's CRD, due to a growing family. Was over looking on ebay and noticed no less than 9 liberty CRD's. Used to be only 2 or 3 at any given time. Looks like prices have come down in the last few months as well. Couple of clean, low mileage limited's with buy it now's in the high teens and not really moving. Greg |

Wait until gas hits $4.00 this summer...Most people don't know the good points of the CRD. |

Up here it is still $1.50 a day cheaper for my wife to drive our 2007 GT Mustang than the CRD to work. That is with 300 HP. |

A local dealer in my area advertising "slightly used" vehicles has no less than 5 CRD's on their lot just sitting, sitting, sitting, etc. |

Hum, Mustang 17/25 CRD 22/26 30% better city and basically the same highway for the CRD. I guess if RUG is much cheaper than ULSD and you do mostly highway it could work out Of course the newer EPA Formula puts the CRD at a more realistic 20/23 or so. I easily hit both those numbers or better with or without the ORM,EHM, ect I know that the Corvette and other V8 sports cars with a good overdrive ratio get impressive mpg on the highway. |

Here in OR and WA the diesel has been cheaper than all the gas lately. A buddy just sold his Nissan Maxima because the wife decided she liked the new little Toyota better, he took a hosing on it too, it's just the way it is. I'm completely happy with my CRD, it's all I wanted it to be, but I did my homework, A multi-vehicle/type longterm offroader and don't expect it to be anymore than it was supposed to be. |

I would gladly pay $1.50 to drive my CRD over a Mustang - but that's just me... |

You don't need a scooter...you need one of these: http://www.hdtusa.com/PDF/D650A1_Bulldog_US.pdf Production has been delayed since we're at war. It's basically the same motorcycle the Marines use. They needed a diesel powered motorcycle so they didn't have to carry more than one type of fuel with them. 102mpg and rated for diesel or biodiesel. I can tell you from having owned the gasoline equivalent of this motorcycle, it's a really fun bike to ride that's pretty durable. The aftermarket for them is amazing! If you like off roading in your Jeep, then you'll love this thing. |

Yea, UL is 2.99 and D is 3.15. The 300 HP V8 GT gets 27-28mpg on the highway if she keeps it below 60. CRD gets around 24-25 right now with winter blend still at the pumps. The GT has the 3.31 ratio limited slip rearend with a 5 speed auto and is scary fast at 150 mph. |

My NX is one of the most fun bikes to ride that I know of. |

It is a Kawasaki KLR650. I believe the engine is a clean slate design though. Not a converted KLR motor. I loved my KLR. Wish I would have never sold it. It was heavy (for a dual sport bike), slow, underpowered, and had a god awful suspension....but it had a special charm to it that made it fun to ride. The whole was better than the sum of the parts. |
