Post subject:  End day four:

Day 3 consisted of sleeping in a few hours, driving to denver in the rain and fighting traffic, going all over town for parts, and driving back up to fort collins, annoying day that while resulted in me getting all the parts needed to finish, felt very frustrating in terms of things accomplished.

Today we got the front bumper grill lights etc all on, so the front end of the Jeep is done at least. Spent most of the day removing the 1/4 panel, tommorrow the prep(grinding etc) to get the new panel on begins, hopefully my roof comes in tomorrow or sat so I dont have to wait untill tues to get it.

You must have some serious skills... it looks like quite a project.

Now, welding in your shorts?!!

No need to shave those legs!!

Looking forward to the finished pics.. :D

Dang! Remarkable. Better than watching those guys on cable from Orange County Choppers.

When ya' got tools and smarts like this, who needs a warranty?

Man, if I was in your shoes right now with the CRD stripped down the way it is...I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RESIST CAGING THE WHOLE THING. With everything out of the way...especially the roof...I would not be able to stop myself from welding in a cage.

I also wouldn't be able to resist welding the rear passenger door flush, building the rear cargo area completely flat and making a panel wagon with no side windows past the drivers area.

I like the "old school" downtube shifter road bike too 8)
