Hey All,

Don't know if anyone else got this one.

SAFETY RECALL G03 – BLOWER MOTOR

What you must
do to ensure your
safety...
Simply contact your dealer right away to schedule a service appointment. Ask the
dealer to hold the part for your vehicle or to order it before your appointment.
Remember to bring this letter with you to your dealer.
If you need help... If you have questions or concerns which your dealer is unable to resolve, please contact

LOL... I feel your pain.
I also laugh at the 1/2 hour. More like 1 day minimum.

Careful - they may violate your CRD in your power reduction port, aka obd. Be sure your OBD chasity belt is securely fastened if your CRD has not yet been castrated( 05 models only, 06's come neutered). These Jeep dealers be crafty people, they will cut your torque off before you can turn your head and cough.

Yeah, that happened to me and they called it the F31 service that was just suppose to let scanners read the OBDII codes. Those sensored word, they killed my torque!

My blower motor fan exploded - busting a hole in the air box, this was 2 summers ago. I should be ok.

Also, is there a way to cover the ODB port with a padlock type of entity?

My VIN is is showing a blower motor recall. I have a Provent and an '02 airbox. Do I have to remove those before I take it in?

I took my '06 in Thursday to have the fuel filter head assembly changed out and they already ordered the new blower motor. Sometimes I wonder if it would be worth more as charcoal? :):)

I doubt they would even notice let alone care.
