Do we have different filter heads, TC's, balljoints, etc.. than the European and Australian models? If so why can't we get some of their filters or torque converters? If not, how do they fix theirs? A manuel tranny kit from over yonder would be awesome.[/code]

My brother in law has a CRD Liberty (called the Cherokee there) sold in Sweden and he has had the ball-joint recall done. His is an auto, but no problems with the TC yet (I don't know if he was notified of F37 or similar). He just drives it and does the scheduled maintenance at the dealer...says it runs fine.

That's the way most of them are here in the US, you just don't hear about all the good ones because those folks don't feel compelled to visit this site and brag on how great their vehicles are.
