Just my luck, i decide to plug in my MAF sensor for this long trip and now i get P1140, searching seems to tell me this is another EGR error code, CRD seems to respond exactly like ORM is active.... could this be a coroded lead b/c i was running ORM for soo long? Anyone see an issue w/ me continuing to drive another 1000 miles w/ this error? thanks o8k |

Icovered my plug to avoid corrosion....but when I put it back in for an experiment after 4kmiles on ORM...there didn't seem to be a difference in performance either. Didn't get a code, light went off after 4 starts. THere is a theory that the CPU "learns"...that might be part of it...or the EGR miht clog. Maybe the EGR gets clogged shut, that or maybe the FCV. Might pop off the hose there to look at the FCV,see if it moves. I doubt you'll have any troubles. Remember, as long as the EGR is NOT working and stopped in a CLOSED position, you are just running your engine in a BETTER way. Enjoy the imroved mileage. |
