Would the owners in the Phoenix area, and any other area, be interested in getting together for lunch or dinner somewhere in the valley? |

Since we are so "rare" you might want to try all Libertys in your area and then "showoff" the CRD. |

I thought of that but I would like to keep it to CRD's. Mainly becuase I don't visit the KJ or KK section that much. If people respond that they would like to invite everyone that's fine with me. My main goal is to put faces with names and meet some fellow KJ owners. |

Lots of Phoenix people are on the other forum nowadays. Sometimes they cross post-- try posting under the AZ section. We went out yesterday (all KJs) for an easy ride (no hard stuff) in Payson along the rim and had a good time. Had dinner afterwards. There were three CRDs. I have seen around four or five others in town-- so there are plenty in Phoenix. |

I'd love to get together and talk CRD! I too think there may be enough on this forum for a meeting. I see lots of CRDs as I'm driving around. I trailed a burgundy one in Mesa about 4 blocks and got out to talk to him when he stopped. It was his wife's, he was dropping off the kids and was definitely NOT a car guy. No fun! I won't be back in town until next month, maybe we could arrange something in late October after I get my windshield replace, the rear driver's window fixed, fluids replaced, transmission worked on (I suspect #2 TC is on its way out. Maybe I'll get a new pump this time instead of just new seals.) and whatever goes south between now and then. |

Well, with Zonie right now I know of five CRDs in the valley - Pablo, o8k, lyle and azmotoman are the other four. EDIT: Oops, make that six - I forgot AZScout. Sorry Dave |

I'd be up for October. Any suggestions on a place to meet? BTW, I live in the west valley, apts across from Cabellas. I count myself as very lucky with my CRD. I'm on my original transmission and EGR. The only problem I've had is the window. |

And I'm here too! I say I live in Phoenix but I really live North of town up by Carefree Hwy. Close enough for the web. I would be interested in a "Meet & Eat." I would love to compare notes to those that have done the mod. So what kind of food are we talking? Jack-N-Box, Bill Johnson's, Pizza????? |

Whatever day you guys pick I would cross post in the AZ section to make sure no rides are going on that day, otherwise you will loose a bunch of folks. |
