I installed a Fumoto valve during my last oil change. Its time for the next change, and I was looking forward to flipping the valve lever and letting the oil drain out. To my surprise, when I pushed the level nothing came out. Tried pushing it in all directions and jiggling it. Still nothing. So I had to remove the valve and ended up with oil spraying all over the skids and me. Anybody have a similar experience? Guess I need to contact the vendor for a replacement.

I assume you pushed it in and then rotated it downward. Correct?

If that is the case and you got nothing, I would have taken a wire and pushed it up thru to remove a blockage.

I have used mine numerous times and never had a problem.

Some times the valves take a pretty hard set after a few thousand miles and are really hard to turn. I have them on a number of cars. Even if you push down to clear the notch and then rotate it can be tough. Did you ever get it open once off the car?
