Running that on the wife's '05. However, even though made by Wix, they are MADE IN CHINA. I almost didn't install it when I saw that on the filter. But, upon close inspection to an OEM unit that was on there, it appeared to be well made and even identical. So far, so good - the engine hasn't fallen out of the Jeep, yet....... Chris |

Can someone else confirm the filter part number and price? I swung by my local NAPA today and asked him to look up the Wix fuel filter for the CRD. $30, special order... - Chris |

Napa part #33647. Wix just puts a 3 in front of the regular number. Napa dealer here had none but 6 was in Orlando so he got me one. 26.00 bucks plus tax. You need to remove the water drain from the new filter and use the drain from the original filter because it has the sensor on it. |

Go to fleetfilter.com. The price is under $19 and you can get a 15% discount with an order over $125. They also have most of the other Wix/NAPA filters. Aren't the Mopar filters made by Wix in China? Lewis |

They are probably made in Italy from parts that were made in China. Seriously - freaking everything is made in China now... |

Be sure to wash your hands after handling it. There could be lead on the canister. |
