I just got home and stopped for gas. 87 octane was $2.89 and diesel was $3.25. That was Hess right up the street......................(Upstate NY) Diesel always seems to be .25-.30 more a gallon around here than 87 unleaded for some reason.

That site is interesting. I took a quick look.

St. Louis is 40 to 50 cents difference between RU and diesel.

If you look at the graph on the website for the last two years, you'll notice something interesting - diesel prices have been lowest during the winter months, where traditionally demand for home heating oil has driven diesel prices up - exactly the opposite of the normal historical trend.
