Ok folks, I'm sure there's lot's of opinions...but here goes....

I'm looking to buy new tires for the 06 CRD and I'm wondering where to find the best prices. I live in a large city and have access to all/most of the major chains.

Looking for all weather tires.....USE: Lot's of highway miles, tow 4k camper, up and down mountain roads alot, 4 wheel occasionaly....looking for good riding tire. Also, looking for tire that I don't have to mod wheel well or other.

Walmart
Costco
Sam's Club
Big O
Les Olsen
Good Year
Pep Boys
Sears
etc, etc

Thanks in advance....

Welp, you know my opinion:

$476 out the door(didnt have to pay $48 in mounting/balancing) for 5 tires really isnt bad.

That was from discount, and they will pricematch.

I have become the biggest fan of Nokians. I have the Vatiiva ATs. Super tires...5 for $515. Be forwarned that some of the discount places like Sams or Costco won't put larger tires on your rig. They will only go with factory specs but YMMV.

Yup, costco is real sticklers about that.

And then what they will put on tends to vary by state, Kalifornia is pretty fascist about it.

I've purchased tires at Discount for years and have always received great service. Picked up my current Yokohama Geolander H/T's in 245/70/16 there last Spring for about $120/tire installed.
