Today the dealer is replacing my egr under warranty,is there any way to eliminate this without setting of any trouble codes? I have heard nothing but horror stories about them .

Mine is getting its 4th tomorrow, or maybe the 3rd, I have lost count  On 2nd FCV too...getting sick of it! Guess it is time to unplugg'er and buy a scanner....
