| Post subject: | Big AEM filter |
I have a really large AEM dry filter made for a big diesel truck sitting in my basement. Anyone ever pulled the stock box and put an elbow on the rubber hose from the turbo and bolted on the filer? I would have to drill for the IAT sensor, but If I am running the ORM, who needs the MAF. Gonna hit Home Depot tonite for the pvc elbow. I might get fancy and try to make a heat shield for it too. If you had a "spare" stock air box you could possibly use it after "customizing it" as a heat shield. You might only be able to use the "back half" but at least it would/could still mount in the stock holes to stay up. |

That was my plan. I figured it would be easy to cut and still mount up. Time to hit the hardware store. Travis |
