I am at 80,000 miles and so far so good. Not a bit of problems. Average mpg is 26, and that is 2x as good as my 05 f150.
I hope the auto makers start putting diesels if the smaller pickups.

what maintenance have you done so far? did you replace the tranny oil?

I am somewhat dreading the 100K timing belt and the 60K tranny oil, per the owners manual. I hope some of you ambitious high milers will do a write up for us DIY'ers.

I had the tranny service done at 30k (screens/fluid) by a local shop. The charge was (only) about $ 150. It was slightly higher than what the local dealer wanted, but the dealer was only a flush-no screen change. The shop put in a non-chrysler fluid that met the specs. The shop owner told me I could have gone longer on the service as there was no indication of any problem from excess metals or burnt fluid. I asked him about waiting until 60k next time, but he thought it might be too long based on his experience with dodge diesel trucks.

In any event, even though 150 dollars is a fair amount of money, considering the time to drop the pan and cost for new screens and fluid I think it was the right choice compared to shade tree mechanics.

I have changed the oil every 7,500 miles. Always have ran 0w 40 moblil one. Change feul filter twice and it is past do now hopefully I get to that this week. Tranny changed at 50,000. Front brakes at about 55,000. Clean air sensor at 60,000 after seeing the photos on here. Thats it so far. I to I am thinking of what to do about timing belt. My miles are all highway miles and my serpatine belt still looks like new so I probably will go a little farther on timing belt.

(knock on wood?) Cool to hear that many miles on a CRD. I would still love to build one in the future.
