you can make em out of PVC plumbing parts real easy, take a look at plumbing fittings and see what looks best to you and how you want to use it

a little OT... what all can you monitor with a scan gauge? EGT? Boost? Trans temp?

I typically monitor MAP(boost) IAT(intake Air Temp) fWT (water Temp) and VLT(voltage).

Can't monitor TCM parameters, only ECM. I might be wrong, but I don't think we have an EGT sensor, at least its not one of the parameters supported by the ECM.

I have been working with the Scangauge support guy to see if we can monitor fuel rail pressure, but no success yet.

You should also have your intercooler checked for leaks once in a while (yearly?).

If you go to one of the better diesel shops, they can test the intercooler. Won't cost that much.

They should put 35psi to the intercooler and there should not be a loss of more than 5psi in 15 seconds. If 5 or more psi loss, you should consider a new intercooler. Most check the hoses and that is good, but very few check the intercooler. There are some that come from the factory already leaking too much.
