Tried to fit the fumoto with the adapter and it seemed like the adapter was too big. I couldn't get it started by hand. Is it possible I stripped the threads just enough so it won't fit. The original drain plug fits fine. Help...I really want that fumoto on there. Thanks. BTW I just ordered the new fumoto wout the adapter, I hope it isn't wishful thinking.. |

It's possible, sure. Clean off the stock plug really well and compare them side-by-side. If you look at the full circumference, you can usually see if the thread's been chewed-up. Dan |

Can you fit the original plug back in? - that would at least tell you if it's stripped. |
