http://klode.com/Kws/Napplications/disp ... Exit=Close Paid $2400, with buyers fees and taxes it will be about 2800 to get it home, radiator, hood, front bumper cover, and serpintine belt are my main list of repair items, along with some bodywork pulling the radiator support back into place. So this will be my parents car, he will drive his yellow 2000 XJ back here, and drive this MB back there, I will sell my 2000 XJ, and keep his. Always fun stuff going on. Oh and this was the last mercedes I bought there some years ago for $900 http://ww3.klode.com/kws/napplications/ ... Exit=Close |

Verrrrrrrrry nice whip man. I'd love to get one of those, but more likely an old 300SD if I have to replace my 240D. |

Ya, that 300SDL was a nice car, we had a 240D and a 240TD back in the 80s/early 90s. The 240 was non turbo and the TD was a turbo, big difference. I always liked those old 240TDs being a wagon means its alot more useful, what trips me out is that they call this an "E300TD" which used to mean wagon, now just means turbo diesel. These years are pretty rare with diesels, and usually command a pretty good price, even used private party, so even if we had to sell this car next week we would come out ahead. |

Where is a S300DL? Oh never mind. That looks like a E300 to me. For the life of me I cannot remember which engine that is. Nice deal. That is the body style that is the most popular for Taxi's here. |

My nieghbors take a nice long walk every morning, and of course they happen to come back just as the tow truck is backed up in my driveway dropping the thing my my garage, all gawking and staring......would have made my life a little easier if they had come along 5 mins later. Oh well!
Got the shrink wrap off already, battery was disconnected, which is nice because it wasn' totally dead and keeps the battery alive, too many batteries die when they are allowed to discharge and sit. |

E-Spec parts for the win! Get rid of that crappy rear trunk lid. Funny the German tuners use the US spec rear lid as a cool part. |
