Post subject:  Torque Mgmt Request lead

In his thread on the SEGR installation, gmctd pointed this pin out:

"Interestingly enuff, here is C1-11 Torque Management Request pin - hmmmm......what's gmctd up to, now, eh?"

Is this guy the secret to getting back the torque that the F37 recall destroys? Anyone tinkered with this? It's probably PWM, so it wouldn't be trivial to fool, but...

MrMopar gave the pinouts also and wished anyone trying it "Good Luck"

someone here removed the torque management request pin. may not be the best idea ever, or at least not the best without a suncoast.

Implication of this statement is that this lead only makes torque reduction requests. Is that true? I'd love to hear from whoever tried this...I assume it threw a code of some kind, but did it get anything back performance-wise?

I intended to series-in a switch, but didn't get to see the little mule enuff to do so - it's on the list, along with the switched pressure-offset - doesn't seem to do much, no CEL's, but I never got to drive it B4 the severance, so dunno if it makes any diff at all - the Hemi guys routinely cut it loose

Thanks, gmctd. I can't tell from this sentence which item doesn't seem to do much and doesn't throw a code: is it the torque request lead, or the pressure offset lead?

Pressure offset works, if installed - TMRS hasn't seemed to do much
