Hello everybody, my g/f and i just picked up an 05 Alpine white Liberty Diesel... we absolutly love this vehicle andf are very impressed so far with it. I am planning on doing some of the more common mods such as a lift, bigger tires, and an exhaust ofsome sort... I have searched the threads and came up with some answers but i thought i might as well ask and see if the info i gathered is current.

So for the exhaust i am torn between doing a full 3" collector back with no muffler or with a muffler... there seems to be many opinions on this, so any advice is greratly appreciated. Next is the lift and when i do this i am going to do it right the first time, so i want a good kit that wiil improve handling on and off the road, it looks like OME or frakenlift seem to be the choices of most on here...

Ok now for the big question? Our check engine light came on this past week and has been going on and off, i had the code read and it comes up as "Low flow EGR" and from searching on here also see that this is very common problem with these suv's so my question is what is the best way to deal with this.. i live in northern ontario Canada where we have no emissions testing, so should I do the egr delete or get a new one? how hard is it to do the delete and what am i loking at cost wise either way? any help or direction where i can find help would be much appreciated...
Thanks in advance, looking forward to being a part of this community.... cheers

Post subject:  Welcome

The EGR can be disconnected right at the air box but the CEL(check engine light) comes on.
Others do the SEGR kit without the CEL.
I like the EHM (elephant hose mod), fumoto valve, OME springs and shocks and 3" cat back with magnaflow and a cat gut mod.
No miracles if the F37 mod has been done, otherwise a performance chip or reprogramming is required.
I am doing the T/C(torque converter), shift kit and tranny cooler before the performance upgrades.
Whew, that's a lotta money I spent and it is not finished yet.
Got that all?
You are at the right place, take your time, read, search and ask questions, you are not alone.
