Hi all,
Has anyone else tried the Inmotion stage 1.5 tune? It's intended to be a middle ground between the power tune and the economy tune. We had it flashed onto our ECM several months ago. So far, my wife and I find that the fuel economy is unchanged or slightly worse, and it takes more pedal travel to get the little beast moving. My wife has been complaining that she does not like the way it drives anymore. To me, it feels like my old turbo Dodge did when the fuel pressure regulator failed and the rail was getting 40psi instead of 55psi.
On paper, the stage 1.5 tune is only a handful of ft-lbs down from the power tune. Power tune is 335ft-lbs, eco-tune is 329ft-lbs, and this stage 1.5 is supposed to be in the middle (with improved fuel economy). But, it feels much slower than the power tune did. Perhaps there's something wrong with our vehicle, like a vacuum leak somewhere? It would be good to get some other data points to compare to our experiences.
Thanks!
- Chris
