Has anyone in the diesel world had a chance to confirm or deny if the EDGE Insight (OBD II connected gauges) will work on our CRD's ? I actually just got one Monday for my 2007.5 Dodge RAM 3500 MegaCab w/6.7L and 68RFE. EDGE's website actually does not list the CRD, but I thought they may not list it due to the limited number of CRD's produced in 2005 and 2006.

I was too busy playing with it in the RAM 3500 to take the time to hook it into the CRD.

I'm afraid someone from NASA would need help figuring this thing out.....I at least got to find the rail pressure setting and monitor rail pressure readings while my wife flogged the Blue Bus.

If you want to learn more, you can download the owner's manual here in PDF format :

That's from my youth, when 6-cyl cars outnumbered V8's - a Chevy with a 215cuin 6-cyl was a dog, but add a GMC 258cuin 6cyl dump truck engine, two one-barrel Stromburgs, McGurk cam, split exh manifold, etc, and it could easily run off and leave a Ford V8 or any other - Pontiac, Buick and Packard had straight-8's, only other V8's were Oldsmobile 303cuin, Cadillac 331cuin, but who could afford those? That bad Jimmie 6 had the whup-butt reputation and the kick-butt motto: 6 in a row makes it go - easily applied to my Dodge 359cuin puffer and then to the little CRD mule with a slight concatenation to four holes, eh?

So, yeah, everyone feel free to declare - it's a statement of fact, not a possession...................
