I love to be corrected so go for it ....

My understanding is that.....

1- ORM lowers egr usage by forcing the computer to run the EGR from fixed tables that are less than the MAP would want to open the egr if the MAP was conected.
2- Inmotion lowers the EGR opening times/quantity to the minimum possible before the CEL comes on.
3- Inmotion tune is based on a stock computer with the MAP pluged in....

My question is....

Does the EGR open less with ( ORM + Inmotion ) or (NO ORM + Inmotion )?

Are the inmotion tables times of EGR opening LOWER than the Factory tables that a truck with ORM would be using ?

wich overrides wich ?

My reasoning for the post is to find out if its more beneficial to run ORM + Inmotion or NO ORM + inmotion, since in theory the inmotion tune.... lowers the EGR opening times or quantity. But does it Lower it more than just ORM ? or less?

ORM lowers the EGR tables till they're upside down, on the floor, legs in the air - Inmotion used the EURO ECM parameters for a while, but now can create custom tunes, including eliminating EGR - James can alter any parameters you desire, but the resultant tune is your responsibility, not his - 'nuther words, if what you think you know doesn't work, it's your problem, and will cost you to get it fixed - his canned tunes and custom work is functional - so, to answer your question - yes.................

I'm running the InMotion Stage 2 tune, and the ORM.

If I plug in the MAF sensor in, I can clearly see on the Scangage intake temps rising dramatically. As soon as I pull the plug, temps drop.

I did have InMotion lower the EGR usage on my tune, but I still run the ORM. Only time I hook it back up is when I go to the shop or the emissions tester.
