A local dealer has an '05 CRD Sport so I thought I'd see if they'd take my Sentra Spec-V (good mileage daily driver) and my Cherokee (used for wheeling and towing) in on trade. We ended up with a $3100 difference that I'd owe after the trades. I told them I can do it for $2000 but they wouldn't budge so I left. Maybe I'll try again in a week or two. Do the CRD's have a factory block heater? There was a plug by the dipstick on this one.

Welcome to L.O.S.T.
Yes both '05 & '06 CRD's have a stock engine block heater, the cord is zip tied to the oil dipstick and is about 3' long. You don't really need it, but helps w/ below 0 F starts, and warms up a bit faster. Just wait for the glo-plug light to turn off and crank it up. If your worried about cold starts just make sure you use some Winter PowerService and maybe put on a Winter front.
