Trans Slipping this am with the following codes 700, (trans control sys), 732 (gear ratio error 2nd) , 733 ( gear ratio error 3rd) any quick thoughts come to mind ?? Also several mornings including today backing out drive way felt like trans in" lockup" pick up speed and shudder when brake applied and if not kicked into" N" will stall and die. Fluid levels OK.

Codes from scan gauge

Does it continue to do this with the Scangauge disconnected?

Several of us have had occasional problems with the SGII putting out "noise" on the data bus and causing the tranny to do weird things - such as dropping completely out of gear at 70 mph.

Once I disconnected the Scangauge, problem went away and hasn't happened since.

You could try disconnecting the Scangauge and see if that has any effect. But from the sound of it, my money would be on an actual problem with the tranny or TCM - given that the SG is reporting trouble codes, and this is far beyond any problems we've encountered just from using the Scangauge.

I have had the scan gauge, gear change also, and your are correct, with scan gauge unplugged, the dropping into a lower gear does stop. As I write this I think the scan gauge was plugged in.
The local transmission shop "owner" did not want to touch it, as the local police have Chargers with the same trans, and he has had bad luck with all the electronics and connectors.

His attempt to put a smiley face on my problem is that it just mite be a glitch, and it might take care of it self. But that was after he said the codes 732 and 733 indicate clutch slipping.

Just got the little light Khaki Turd (LKT) back for the dealer. Removed valve body and replace transmission solenoid assembly. $399 parts and $382 labor. Boy I would trade this light Khaki TURD if I was sure of my work place situation. Also being not upside down loan wise does not help!!
