From a bio diesel forum. Interesting. Since this was a year and a half ago has anyone heard about any of these?

August 2008

"A couple weeks back an auction in Akron ohio, sombody won 158 new CRD engines, they were 05-07, mostly complete they had pix of pallet after pallet of engines, all CRDs, they went to one buyer, i assume he got a good deal, wonder if any will show up on E-Bay, or someplace else? Thx Ron"

Yep we saw that, they were all sold as one lot. Someone threw some cash at them, but per unit they were stupid cheap.

We don't know who bought them, or where they went.

engines are out there, and there is not a high demand for them. I have only heard of 2 people replacing their engines since the CRD came out. Now we don't have a representative sample, but that is pretty low numbers.
