If you been running the K&N since 2002, why do you want to switch? K&N supposed to be reusable for a million miles. |

K&N = more air flow More air flow = more dirt The trade off Amsoil is less air flow = less dirt will pass through Amsoil claims their filters are cleanable by taping or vacuuming I don't buy that claim because if it filters as well as oem the it should clog just as fast. I like to see one go 100,000 miles on our little tractor. |

... cleanable and stops more dirt than most paper filter. Yup it is cashy, but better than wearing out the piston rings. I quit using K&N on my wife's TDI when I saw pin pricks of light through it. |

Pro-Guard 7 Made by Advanced Flow engineering. I love leaving Big Block Tahos, Suburbans, and H2 Hummers behind me when I accelerate away from the stop lights. Having all the air I can get to my turbo helps me do it. one source: http://www.autoanything.com/air-filters ... 5A0A0.aspx |

Pro-Guard 7 exceeds Cummins engine warranty requirements, K&N flunks their engine warranty requirements. AFE web site: http://afepower.com/shop/application_se ... &year=2002 |

http://www.gravanatuning.com/0/8/130/10 ... egory.html And their price is a little lower too. Our son used to work for Dell in Dublin, we know it is a pain to ship to Ireland. You may want to order the filter oil too. |

My 06 CRD takes the same as the gassers from 02 to 07. If your 02 CRD takes the same as the gassers, your in great shape. With K&N the 2.5L 2.8L & 3.7L all take the #33-2233. From this I can conclude that all 02 through 07 2.5L, 2.8L & 3.7L take the same filter. Since both K&N and Pro-Guard 7 are direct replacement for stock, the Pro-Guard 7 should fit your 02-CRD. Over here Detroit, MI is very bad now. I have a friend's daughter graduate and I gave her a Southwest Airlines round trip to Jacksonville, FL from Detroit. I had no problem booking her a free (to me) restricted seating ticket from Detroit on a Monday morning, most of the time you are lucky to book on Tuesday or Wednesday, the slow days. In Houston, TX you would never know there was a recession, I fly there to work next week, there are people dressed like Loan Officers with signs standing in the street trying to loan money to any one who wants it. Round Rock, TX where Dell is is another story. It sucks what Dell is doing, My son left just before it all happened. Now he is in Amsterdam working for Black Board. |
