My CEL came on and shut off after 4 or 5 starts. I have a question about this: 1. Does this mean the problem has gone away, or was just a glitch 2. Will the CEL code be recorded in the computer and can it be read now that the light is off? 3. Should I bother to have this checked as the car continues to run fine and get good mpg. |

1. There was a problem, but it reset itself after a certain number of starts 2. Possibly, depending depending on your code reader. Most likely not though. 3. Most likely it was something related to your EGR/ MAP - mine did that and went away when I cleaned the MAP sensor. Have you pulled and cleaned your MAP sensor? Are you running the ORM or the SEGR? |
