I now have approximately 31,000 miles on the Firestone Destination AT's, 245/70/16, I purchased on 2/5/08. My impression of these tires is very favorable. The handle wet weather well, drove in a snow storm with them while going across Wyoming and they did a good job, they didn't do very well in mud but they are AT's so what do you expect. My set is wearing like iron. After 31,000 they still have a lot of tread left. I rotate them every 10,000 miles and keep them aired to Firestone specs. The only bad thing I can think of is they have developed a howl that wasn't there when they were new. The howl had been present the last 1,000 to 1,500 miles. The biggest compliment I can pay them is that when my current set is finished I'll be buying the same tires to replace them. |
