I have been running the ORM for 5000 miles now and I plug my MAF in and use the three key turns every other week or so just to check if there have been any CEL's thrown. I did just that this weekend and drove with the MAF plugged in for 5 miles or so. It did have the CEL on and the CRD seemed to be running a little strange. It ran fine at idle but upon acceleration it studdered a bit until up to speed. My first thought was air in the fuel and I promptly bled the fuel system, that didn't work so I plugged my MAF back in and test drove it and it runs just fine.

Does this mean my EGR valve is shot. Also, can Autozone, Advanced Auto ect. scan our vehicles?

Thanks for any advice,

Snowman

It could be just a random air in fuel problem that was cleared with a restart, maybe not related to unplugging the MAF. Is it plugged in now? Is the CEL still on?

I have the MAF sensor unplugged again and it is running normal, but I am more concerned about the CEL that is underlying the CEL for the ORM...
