I was talking to an older fellow last night at the gas station. He was asking questions about my CRD. finely he says he has one also and was wondering why mine sounded different. Told him I had gutted the cat but was still running the stock muffler.

He asked if i had any problems with it "coding" I'm assuming he was talking about CEL's Engine codes for inspections.

I have not but thought I would ask on here and see if anyone else had a problem with it putting out codes?

and yes I did give him an invite to join the L.O.S.T. sight but he said "Its hard to teach an old dog new tricks", doesn't have much to do with computers.

no. you will not get any cel's from gutting it. We have no sensors down there.
