Post subject:  Finally...a diesel electric car.
Many people have wondered why no auto manufacturer did a hybrid with a diesel...it just seems to make sense. Anyway, as posted on slashdot apparently some people decided to try. The story is interesting (I'm still waiting for the link to come up for the actual build information...) and the comments/questions about diesels are....er....interesting I guess.
