What are these terms supposed to mean? GDE, SEGR, etc. Is there a list on the site that would decipher these terms?

Thanks Bob :?

GDE= Green Diesel Engineering, they re-tune ECMs and they say other goodies are coming.
Some of the members think their following borders on Religion or Politics, two forbidden topics.

SEGR= (S) Shutoff or Stop or some other "S" word that may be censored by the L.O.S.T censor robot, (E) Exhaust, (G) Gas, (R) Recirculation.

EGR on Diesels is to reduce Nitrous Oxide Emissions, I have stated in my posts that the for al most all of Terra Ferma, Nitrous Oxide is a Bogieman gas that is a fixation of those who have abused illegal drugs and damaged most of their synaptic pathways. Under extreme conditions of very hot weather during a temperature inversion, with no wind, in a city like LA that is in a big bowl, NOX can form smog.
Shutting off the EGR with the SEGR will improve your mileage, reduce CO emissions, reduce gunk in your intake and much more. This only holds true on Diesels with EGR.
Do it to a gasser, you may find holes in your pistons depending on the engine.

Most of the are in the CRD Tech section - but it's spread out
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=98

(I think the S was Synthetic or Simulated)

don't forget either EHM - Elephant Hose Mod - or Provent
(I prefer Provent - although some have made smaller & cheaper versions)

and cleaning the MAP sensor.

I have been reading CRD tech as a means of decoding. I am going to do the SEGR or "Super Enormous Gas Remover"
