I recently got the GDE tune on my 06 Liberty and I now have several DTC's.

U0121 ABS comminication
P1261 Glow plug
P0146 O2 sensor
P0000 Unsure what this one is

All of these have appeared in the past two days and I am suspiciius that the GDE tune has something to do with this as I have less than 1,000 miles on the jeep since the tune and never had any issues before the tune.

Any input on this would be appreciated.

Have you talked with them, they seem very on top of codes and the like. I had a code before the tune
I did not know about, but none since the tune that were a result of the tune. I would call them and
see, as they would like I am sure to get to the bottom of it.

Its that Bosch ECU, Mopar TCM, American J plug classic presentation of false codes(CRD Gremlin) except for 1 in your case.
EVERY TIME I hook up my OBDII reader, scanner that ABS and lost communication code and that P0146 O2 sensor code comes up. Your CEL turned on cause of that P1261 glow plug - your #1 glowplug is in question. Had exact same happen to me.
A simple test is to disconnect the wiring to the plugs - it is a 4 wire square plug right above the EGR assy- and check ohms with a meter one wire at a time- they should be .8 to one ohm- the bad one will show much higher ohms reading- trace to glowplug but it is #1.
Moparpartsamerica.com has replacement at $40 plus shipping.

good luck

Roland

Silverdiesel, I had that same code before the tune, then ordered the parts, glowplug #1 and module. Put them in, not quite
at the 4-5 restarts yet, code will clear but comes back after sitting overnight. Will know in a day or so if it is finally fixed.
It did have the #1 cel, but that is gone now with just the 1261 on startup, clear it and it will not come back till cold.

This morning when I started the Jeep it started fine, temps around 20-25f, and after about 20 seconds it started missing real bad, like you shut of off for 1/4 of a sec and turned it back on but never died completely. The tack was fluctuating from 0-750ish and lights were flashing all over. It eventually smoothed out but I only let it run for a couple of minutes before it shut it down and have not restarted it since.
I will be contacting Green Diesel on monday to see if they have any ideas since all of these issues appeared since the tune. I am taking the Jeep on a 3,000+ mile trip in early Nov. and I do not want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with a broken vehicle.

Another member "abhester3" had a lot of problems from getting the GDE tune, but it was not the tune, his harness going to the ECU got rubbed through by the AC lines, and when he removed it, he was getting all kinds of DTC's. Check you wiring harness closely.

About a week after the GDE tune I had the TCM go bad and it threw a 0700 and 0750 code. It sputtered for my wife and went into a limp mode on the way to work. I asked GDE about it and they said they had seen TCMs go bad before, but did not provide anymore information on before/after or why it might be a problem. It happened a week after and I have no indication that it was caused by the GDE tune so I just chalked it up to bad timing. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=45240&highlight=

I would send a PM to GDE as well, maybe you can get an answer today.

I went out today and made sure all of the plugins were tight and that there were no exposed wires. I then stated the Jeep and cleared the codes, the only one that came back was the 1261 code for the Glow Plugs. I did not drive the jeep just let it idle.
After looking at the glow plugs this appears to be a project I do not want to tackle and since I have the extended warranty I think I will spend the $100 and have the dealer fix the glow plug issue.
I will be driving the Jeep more than usual this week to see if the other issues come back or not.
