| Post subject: | Cruise Control Activation |
I have been lurking in the background since august waiting for my account to be activated. I really have learned a lot of things from everyone on here. I bought my CRD back in august its a 06 sport with 47k on the odometer. I do have one question that I could not find the answer to for the life of me searching the forum. I got my cruise control buttons and harness. Then installed them. Took it to the dealer to have them activate it, but we could not get it activated. I was there personally watching over the techs shoulder as he attempted to activate it. He used the starscan tool and went and did the cruise reset. No good. So if anyone else out there has experience with activating cruise on their Jeep could help me out that would be appreciated greatly. |

After completing a cruise reset, you need to have the vehicle started and then hold down the cruise on/off button for about 2-3 seconds until the "cruise" appears on the cluster. If this does not work there most likely is a wiring issue. |
