I am going to the States this week and was going to pick up one of these batteries. They are not available in Canada. Good in the cold? Any thoughts? |

I've been running one for a year or so now. Very happy with it. Cold here has a different meaning than it does there of course. |

They are good units, Sears just renamed them for thier use. More CCA than our factory red tops. |

I have a 31 series with 1000 CCA in my motorhome thats about 2 years old. It spins the Cummins 5.9L fast which helps because it don't have an intake heater. It does have a block heater and in very cold climates I must plug it in to shore power or run the on board diesel generator to keep it warm. Otherwise I must spin it up a minute to get it started. I only did that once and I learned. |

The Platinum series is made by Odyssey batteries. My PC1500(group 34/78) has well over 1300cca's every time I test it. |
