Unfortunately I must part ways with my CRD. The family is growing and the Liberty just doesn't have the space to accomodate the growth. I have a 2005 Patriot Blue CRD Limited with slate grey interior. It's just about to turn 81000 miles. I have only owned it for about a year and have had no issues. I installed a Magna Flow cat back exhaust, Curt Class 3 Hitch, 4 General Grabber AT2 tires that only have around 5000 miles on them, put in the Husky Custom Fit Rhino Liners (Front, Back and Cargo) and just recently installed a bug/rock shield and vent visors for all four doors. I was going to have the GDE Eco Tune done when I found out that I had another boy on the way. As far as I know, the previous owner didn't do anything extra to the CRD other than leave a couple of scratches in the left corner of the rear bumper area. Based on the numbers I pulled for blue book, it retails around $17,000 and private party value is almost $15,000. I think it is worth the $15,000 with the extras I put on so that's what I am asking, but the price is negotiable with reasonable offers. I wish our 05's with 81k was worth 15k. There was an 06 with 22k miles in the St. Louis paper today for $16,900. There was a 07 Diesel GC low miles for 22,900. That would give you enough room and still have a diesel! If I had the money to burn I would go try to trade for a diesel GC. Those maybe more rare than our Liberty CRD's. |

Post 06 diesels have the dpf. If you don't like the support and repair costs of the Liberty CRD I suggest passing on the GC. They do have a little more room though. |

What are you thinking about buying when you sell the CRD? I have a four-door Ram 1500 that I'm trying to trade for a CRD right now. |

Well, I was actually looking for a four door pickup. I was trying to stay diesel, but I have been looking at gas too. Tell me about your truck and send pics. I have pics for the Jeep but I haven't been able to figure out how to post them on the forum. Unless you know how to post them on here, I can just reply to your e-mail with pics of the Jeep. |
