I just pulled fuel heater relay and left unit plugged in? Relay was hot. Is there some reason no one else has posted this?

Point being everyone unpluged there units? I thought maybe there was reason for not pulling relay. Like maybe it runs some other item on jeep.

Pull the relay, misplace the relay, need the heater? buy a new relay. Unplug the wire & you always know where it is. :2cents:

x2. I may re-connect my heater since it is winter now and I have a lift pump, so I'm not worried about air in the fuel or a leaking head... But for those who lack the lift pump, just unplug the connector. Its a 2-second preventative fix to a debilitating problem.
